PENGARUH PENINGKATAN TEMPERATUR TERHADAP LEVEL DAYA TERIMA SMARTPHONE DENGAN PENAMBAHAN USER PADA JARINGAN WI-FI

Abstract


Abstrak - Ponsel cerdas (smartphone) adalah telepon genggam yang mempunyai kemampuan dengan pengunaan dan fungsi yang menyerupai komputer. Gelombang elektromagnetik berperan penting dalam proses penerimaan level daya oleh perangkat smartphone pada kondisi indoor dan outdoor, hal ini apakah berpengaruh terhadap temperatur udara di sekitar. Pada peneltian ini, dilakukan pengukuran level daya terima smartphone dengan penambahan user hingga 10 perangkat, serta pengukuran temperatur ketika terjadi akses. Wireless router sebagai access point dengan frekuensi 2.4 GHz ditempatkan di dalam kotak akrilik yang sudah dibuat dengan ukuran tertentu. Dari hasil pengukuran, kuat medan elektromagnetik antena router pada kondisi indoor dan outdoor yaitu 5.27 W/m dan 1.343 W/m.. Pengujian pada kondisi indoor terjadi penurunan kualitas level daya terima rata-rata smartphone saat 1 menit dan 5 menit sebesar 8.14x10-6 watt dan 4.65 x10-6 watt, dan peningkatan temperatur sebesar 0.3 oC dan 0.5 oC. Sedangkan, pengujian pada kondisi outdoor terjadi penurunan kualitas level daya terima rata-rata smartphone selama 1 menit dan 5 menit sebesar 3.089x10-6 watt dan 2.529x10-6 watt dan peningkatan temperatur sebesar 0.2 oC dan 0.3 oC.

ABSTRACT

Abstract - Smartphones is a mobile phones that has the ability to use and function resemble computers. Electromagnetic waves play an important role in the process of receiving power levels by smartphone devices in indoor and outdoor conditions, it does affect the air temperature around. In this study, the measurement of received power level smartphone with the addition of users up to 10 devices, and temperature measurement when the access occurs. Wireless router as an access point with a frequency of 2.4 GHz is placed inside an acrylic box that has been made with a certain size. From the measurement results, the electromagnetic field strength of the router antenna in indoor and outdoor conditions are 5.27 W/m  and 1.343 W/m. Measurement in the indoor conditions decreased the quality average received power level smartphone of 1 minute and 5 minutes are 8.14x10-6 watts and 4.65 x10-6 watts, and increased in room temperature are 0.3 oC and 0.5 oC. Meanwhile, Measurement in the outdoor conditions decreased the quality average received power level smartphone of 1 minute and 5 minutes are 3.089x10-6 watts and 2.529x10-6 watts and increased in room temperature are 0.2 oC and 0.3 oC.
