PERENCANAAN JARINGAN POINT TO MULTIPOINT UNTUK LAYANAN WLAN PADA DESA JAMBEARJO

Abstract

ABSTRAKWarga Desa Jambearjo yang berada di kecamatan Tajinan, Kabupaten Malang memiliki kesulitan untuk mengakses internet karena terletak di wilayah blankspot. Akses internet yang sulit menghalangi warga desa khususnya pelajar untuk mengakses layanan e-learning, video meet dan mencari informasi secara daring. Beberapa lokasi seperti Masjid Babul Hidayah sudah terjangkau sinyal 4G namun beberapa lokasiseperti SDN Jambearjo 01, Balai Desa Jambearjo, dan TPQ Al-Ikhlas masih belum terjangkau sinyal 4G sehingga warga yang tinggal di sekitar lokasi tersebut tidak dapat mengakses layanan internet dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan jaringan point to multipoint antara Masjid Babul Hidayah dengan SDN Jambearjo 01, Balai Desa Jambearjo, dan TPQ Al-Ikhlas serta disimulasikan menggunakan perangkat lunak LINK Planner dan Ekahau Site Survey. Hasil dari simulasi ini memperlihatkan performansi rancangan jaringan point to multipoint antara Masjid Babul Hidayah dengan SDN Jambearjo 01, Balai Desa Jambearjo, dan TPQ Al-Ikhlas serta dijadikan referensi pada tahapan implementasi danpengembangan.Kata Kunci : Point to Multipoint, Access Point Outdoor, Line of SightABSTRACTThe residents of Desa Jambearjo, located in Tajinan sub-district, Malang Regency, have difficulty accessing the internet because it is located in a blankspot area. Difficult internet access prevents villagers, especially students, from accessing e-learning services, video meet and casual searching for information online. Some locations, such as the Majid Babul Hidayah, are already covered by 4G signals, but several locations such as SDN Jambearjo 01, Jambearjo Village Hall, and TPQ Al-Ikhlas are still not covered by 4Gs ignals thus people that lived nearby those locations can’t access internet services properly. This study aims to plan a point to multipoint network between Babul Hidayah Mosque to SDN Jambearjo 01, Jambearjo Village Hall, and TPQ Al-Ikhlas by simulation using LINK Planner software and Ekahau Site Survey. The results of this simulation show the performance of the point to multipoint network design between the Babul Hidayah Mosque and SDN Jambearjo 01, Jambearjo Village Hal, and TPQ Al-Ikhlas as well as being used as a reference at the implementation and development stages.Keywords: Point to Multipoint, Access Point Outdoor, Line of Sight
