ANALISIS PENGARUH POINTING SUDUT ANTENA SUBSCRIBER UNIT (SU) TERHADAP QUALITY OF SERVICE (QOS) PADA JARINGAN TESTBED WIMAX STANDAR IEEE 802.16D

Abstract

Abstrak— Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh perubahan sudut pointing antenna subscriber jaringan wimax standar 802.16d. Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) IEEE 802.16d merupakan salah satu teknologi yang mampu memberikan data secara cepat dan efisien secara nirkabel. Dalam implementasinya, WiMAX memiliki kekhawatiran apakah perubahan sudut pointing pada antena penerima mempengaruhi coverage area sehingga sinyal yang diterima oleh antena penerima menjadi lemah dan performansi menjadi terganggu dengan cara melihat 4 parameter yaitu signal to noise ratio, throughput, delay dan packet loss. Sudut pointing antena penerima akan dirubah secara mekanik (manual). Hasil penelitian menunjukan untuk nilai signal to noise ratio (SNR) terbesar terdapat pada sudut 180° di sudut azimuth subscriber 1 dengan nilai 27.7 dB. Semakin besar nilai SNR, maka kualitas transmisi sinyal akan semakin baik. Nilai delay pada perubahan sudut pointing antena berdasarkan standar ITU-T G.114 termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan nilai <150ms. Nilai delay terbesar yaitu 0.03493 s pada perubahan sudut elevasi subscriber unit 1 sebesar 30º dengan scheduling RTPS sedangkan nilai delay terkecil yaitu 0.00413 s pada perubahan sudut elevasi -30º subscriber unit 1 dengan scheduling UGS. Nilai throughput pada perubahan sudut pointing antena relatif baik. Nilai throughput terbesar yaitu 3.57813 Mbit/s pada perubahan sudut azimuth subscriber unit 2 270º dengan scheduling UGS sedangkan nilai throughput terkecil 0.64355 Mbit/s pada perubahan sudut azimuth subscriber unit 1 0º dengan scheduling UGS. Semakin besar nilai throughput maka proses penerimaan paket data di sisis pengguna semakin cepat. Nilai packet loss pada perubahan sudut pointing antena dengan nilai terbesar 27.7% pada sudut elevasi 30º subscriber 2 dengan scheduling RTPS. Sedangkan nilai terendah 1.12% pada sudut azimuth 270º subscriber 2 dengan scheduling BE. Menurut standar TIPHON 2012, nilai packet loss pada nilai tertinggi termasuk kategori buruk karena memiliki persentase >15% sedangkan pada nilai terendah termasuk kategori bagus karena memiliki presentase 0 – 15%.Kata Kunci – WiMAX 802.16d, sudut pointing antena, QoS, live streaming.ABSTRACTAbstract - This research aims to connect the customer network of 802.16d standard wimax antenna. The greater the SNR value, the better the transmission quality. The delay value given by the antenna designates the G.114 ITU-T standard in the good category with a value of <150ms. The largest delay value is 0.03493 as an increase in the placement of unit 1 subscribers by 30º with RTPS scheduling while the delay value is 0.00413 s at the elevation pen -30º unit 1 subscriber by scheduling the UGS. The final throughput value of the ment designates a relatively good antenna. The biggest throughput value is 3,57813 Mbit / s at subsumer azimuth subscriber unit 2 270º with UGS scheduling while the throughput value is 0,64355 Mbit / s in subscriber azimuth unit 1 0º by scheduling UGS. The greater the throughput value, the faster the process of receiving data from the user. The value of packet loss is suspended by connecting the highest value of 27.7% at an elevation angle of 30º customer 2 by scheduling RTPS. While the lowest value is 1.12% at 270º customer azimuth angle with BE scheduling. According to the 2012 TIPHON standard, the value of packet loss at the highest value belongs to the bad category because it has a percentage of> 15% in the lowest category including good category because it has a percentage of 0-15%.Keywords - WiMAX 802.16d, pointing antenna, QoS, live streaming.
