ANALISIS PENGARUH JARAK PARALEL DAN PEMANFAATAN ARANG SAWDUST UNTUK MENURUNKAN RESISTANSI PENTANAHAN ELEKTRODA PELAT HORISONTAL

Abstract


Elektroda pentanahan merupakan komponen dari sistem pentanahan yang kontak langsung dengan tanah dan merupakan sarana melepaskan atau mengumpulkan setiap arus bocor bumi.. Elektroda pelat memiliki keunggulan yakni resistansinya paling kecil bila dibandingkan dengan elektroda batang maupun pita. Perlakuan tanah menggunakan arang dapat menjadi solusi dan presentasenya dari 2,5% -15% untuk menurunkan resistansi pentanahan. Rasio C/N dan C-Organik tinggi potensial dijadikan arang yang mampu berfungsi sebagai pembenah tanah. Kandungan C/N dan C-Organik limbah serut kayu/sawdust lumayan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh jarak paralel antara dua elektroda dan pemanfaatan arang serut kayu/sawdust terhadap besar penurunan nilai resistansi pentanahan elektroda pelat dengan konfigurasi horisontal. Pada media tanah lokasi., nilai resistansi paralel paling besar terdapat pada elektroda model A dengan jarak 100 cm yaitu sebesar 25,00 ohm, sedangkan nilai resistansi paralel paling kecil terdapat pada elektroda model A dengan jarak 400 cm yaitu sebesar 8,06 ohm. Pada media tanah lokasi dengan penambahan arang serut kayu setebal 20 cm, nilai resistansi paralel paling besar terdapat pada elektroda model A dengan jarak 100 cm yaitu sebesar 5,48 ohm, sedangkan nilai resistansi paralel paling kecil terdapat pada elektroda model A dengan jarak 400 cm yaitu sebesar 3,07 ohm. Pada analisis pengaruh penambahan arang serut kayu/sawdust didapatkan bahwa penambahan arang serut kayu dapat menurunkan nilai resistansi pentanahan cukup signifikan Dari hasil pengukuran didapatkan penurunan paling kecil terdapat pada pengukuran elektroda model C dengan jarak paralel 400 cm yaitu sebesar 4,99 ohm (61,91%) sedangkan penurunan paling besar terdapat pada pengukuran elektroda model A dengan jarak paralel 100 cm yaitu sebesar 19,52 ohm (78,08%). Pada analisis konfigurasi penanaman elektroda pelat tunggal secara horisontal didapatkan bahwa semakin luas ukuran (luas permukaan) elektroda, maka semakin kecil nilai resistansi pentanahannya.

Abstract

The grounding electrode is a component of an earth system that is in direct contact with the ground and is a means of releasing or collecting any leaky earth currents. In the grounding system it is usually required to carry a large noise current in order to carry the current safely. The plate electrode has the advantage of its smallest resistance when compared to the rod and ribbon electrodes. Soil treatment using charcoal can be the solution and its percentage from 2.5% -15% to decrease the earth resistance. C / N and C-Organic ratios are potential to be charcoal capable of functioning as soil enhancers. The content of C / N and C-Organic waste of wooden / sawdust waste is quite high. The research was aimed to analyze the effect of parallel spacing between two electrodes and the utilization of wood / sawdust charcoal to the big decrease of earth resistance value of plate electrode with horizontal configuration . In the soil media location, the largest parallel resistance value was found in the A model electrode with a distance of 100 cm at 25.00 ohm, while the smallest parallel resistance value was found in the A model electrode with a distance of 400 cm of 8.06 ohm. In the soil medium of the location with the addition of wood-shaved charcoal as thick as 20 cm, the largest parallel resistance value was found in the A model electrode with 100 cm distance of 5.48 ohm, while the smallest parallel resistance value is found in the A model electrode at 400 cm of 3.07 ohm. In the analysis of the effect of the addition of wood / sawdust charcoal, it was found that the addition of wood shaved/sawdust charcoal can decrease the value of the grounding resistance significantly. From the measurement results obtained the smallest decrease found in the measurement of model C electrode with a parallel distance of 400 cm of 4.99 ohm (61.91 %) while the biggest decrease was found in the measurement of electrode of model A with parallel distance 100 cm that is equal to 19.52 ohm (78.08%).
